Lesson One:[Introductions]

"Sabrina Smith, Hufflepuff", said Sabrina to Larkin. "And I'm very well. What about you?". Sabrina looked to the board and saw that Professor Marquette had written some things on the board. She thought about what she was going to write.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

[[Okay, I'm going to attempt an entrance.]]

Scorpius walked to the potions classroom. It wasn't one of his favorites like it was his father's, but it would have to do. As he got closer to the classroom he heard voices. When he walked in the room, he saw that there was only a couple of students there. Two Hufflepuffs, one Gryffindor, and a Slytherin that he recognized as Antony Larkin.

When he first met Antony, he hadn't exactly gotten along with him, but maybe it would change. After all they were the only Slytherins in the class right now. Scorpius sighed and slid into a seat next to Antony, flashing a quick smile up to Professor Marquette. He read the board and groaned. "Oh joy.." he muttered, not really liking where this lesson was heading.

[Roxy Weasley]

For once, Roxy didn't intend to be late to class today. She was actually quite fond of this teacher and it seemed like this was the only class that she was capable of passing anymore. She saw a blonde boy walking ahead of her and realized who it was. He wasn't worth her time, not today anyways. She waited a few minutes after he walked it, not wanting to make it seem like they had been walking together.

After giggling for no random reason, she pushed the door open, and made herself known. "Don't worry everyone! I am here!" she said, still giggling as she tossed her hair over her shoulder. Looking around the room she saw no sign of JJ or Kaitlynn and let out a long, dramatic sigh. Who was going to help her with her work now?

She took a seat, pleased with the attention she had managed to receive from her entrance. She tugged at the ends of her already-short skirt and looked up at the teacher innocently, waiting.

[Amehlia Adler Holmes]

"Don't worry everyone! I am here!" Antony heard the distinct voice of Roxy Weasley. Antony rolled his eyes. What an ego maniac. Merlin, when will this girl ever shut up? Antony thought to himself. "Oh, that just wonderful, Roxy. I'm ecstatic. I'm just overflowing with joy. " He said, smirking to Roxy. "Hey, Scorpius. How's it goin'?" Antony asked the first year when he sat next to him. He leaned toward Scorpius and whispered, "h, I know about the lesson. Isn't this class going to be funner than a barrel full o' monkeys, eh Scorp? Haha." Antony leaned back and out out his hand. "If you didn't catch my name when we first met, I'm Antony Larkin. I'd just like to get on better terms." He said, smiling at the boy.

[Matt Jackson]

James saw his cousin Roxy come in. "Don't worry everyone! I am here!", she said, whilst giggling. James smiled; Roxy always knew how to liven up the moment. She looked around, probably looking for her best mates: Kaitlynn and JJ. After failing to notice then, she sat down on a chair next to James. She probably hadn't noticed that she was sitting next to him.
"Hey Rox", said James.

[Roxy Weasley]

"Oh, that just wonderful, Roxy. I'm ecstatic. I'm just overflowing with joy." She heard someone remark. Immediately she recognized the voice. Antony. Just charming. She turned around, a smirk on her face as she remarked "Aww. Happy to see me are you? I always knew you had a thing for me. A lot better looking than that ginger of yours aren't I?

She rose her eyebrows mockingly and continued to smirk as she looked away from the Slytherin. This class was going to be horrible. Roxy wanted someone to talk to more than anything. "Hey Rox" She heard a familiar voice say. Turning her head to the side, she saw her cousin James and smiled, relieved that she was no longer alone.

"Oh thank goodness!" She replied dramatically, "I thought I was going to be in here alone or something. Should have spoke up sooner! Since when are you so quiet?"

[James Potter]

"Oh thank goodness! I thought I was going to be in here alone or something. Should have spoke up sooner! Since when are you so quiet?". James smiled.
"You should've come in earlier", he said. "Me and my dear friend Larkin over there had a bit of a spat". He rolled his eyes.
"He threatened to Crucio me", said james. "As if he has the backbone".

[Roxy Weasley]

Roxy's eyes widened at James words. That curse was Unforgivable, and not very pleasant from what she had heard. Normally, she would have said something directly to Larkin for even trying to threaten her family. Instead, she decided to take a different approach and burst out in loud, disrupting laughter. "Crucio you? HAH! I don't think so. They all act like they are so tough...when what have they really done?"

She paused for a moment for dramatic effect before she started to talk again, speaking as loud as she could. "Nothing. Posers. He won't come anywhere near you and if he does he will just fling little first year spells at you...even if that." She said between giggles as she shot a glance at the back of the Slytherin's head. What was he going to do? The teacher was in the room and one bad spell could get him expelled for life.

Her trademark smirk came over her face as she leaned back in her chair, waiting for chaos to erupt.

[James Potter]

James laughed as Roxy gave her opinion, noticing she had talked louder so Larkin would hear her. He used that idea and talked louder than he usually would've, to make certain Larkin would hear him.
"The one good thing about Larkin doing that curse, is that he would be sent to Askaban for life", said James. "Only problem, one of his death-eater pals would set him free". He looked at the teacher, and saw she was still arranging her things.
"I wonder when the lesson's actually going to start", James said, voicing his thoughts.

((ooc: I don't teach this class! Well, I don't THINK I do, or I wouldn't be posting so late. Epic Failure right here. Sure Roxy, you know JJ and Kait. Oh and excuse the choices my characters are making, I'm really tired at the moment.))

Kaitlynn knew she was going to be late. Late isn't the word in her mind, though a very similar one was ringing in her head. Tardy. She had never been tardy, besides that one exception for Defense Against the Dark Arts, and the previous night she had been up, well, doing nothing. But still, she didn't like being tardy, though she knew, however much she rushed, she would be quite late.

I knew I should have just fallen asleep instead of staying up all night.

That didn't stop her from taking her time in getting things ready; Kait knew if she rushed, it was more than likely that she would forget something. Besides, she wasn't that late, and the Potions classroom wasn't THAT far from the Hufflepuff Common Room. She would get there before the class was over. THAT was the important thing.

As soon as she was done getting ready, she rushing out of the room and racing for the Potions Classroom. Kaitlynn had already wasted enough time, though it was for something extremely important. She skipped (well more of a walk) down the halls, to the classroom. It was just a bit loud, but it seemed not too out of control. Looking for her friends, any, her eyes landed on a boy, whom she knew for as Antony Larkin. Of course, Kaitlynn had heard quite a bit about this boy, none too good either. Before she was caught staring, she tore her gaze away, in search of someone, anyone, she knew that was at least friends with her.

Kaitlynn smiled a bit when she saw, or heard was more like it, Roxy exclaim quite loudly "Nothing. Posers. He won't come anywhere near you and if he does he will just fling little first year spells at you...even if that." Kaitlynn had a general idea of what might have happened, when she caught a glimpse of James Potter, a rather rebellious kid, who was Roxy's cousin. They seemed to be talking, and Kaitlynn didn't want to be the rude one to interrupt. Then her eyes scanned the board for the first time.

A girl that James knew to be Kaitlynn- Roxy's best friend- hurried into the classroom. Her eyes scanned the classroom, probably looking for Roxy. Her eyes rested on Larkin for a bit, then looked in his and Roxy's direction. She quickly sat down without greeting her best mate and busied herself with the work thst was written on the board. James hadn't even noticed that Marquette had written anything. Then again, James wasn't known for his concentration. He nudged Roxy. "Hey, isn't that Kaitlynn? Your best mate?".
